Happy New Year!

I've added a Downloadable Checklist to help sort and organize what achievements you might need. You will need a PDF viewer such as Adobe Reader.

Also included details on the new tradeskill achievement!

The achievement Flawless Victory: The Shadow Odyssey apparently has some hidden rewards! Check them out!

As part of my plans to make this site more user and printer friendly, on some pages you can now toggle between pictures of the achievements and a text-based table of achievements. Whichever version you choose is the version that is printed.

This is a work in progress, and it's currently not integrated into the entire site yet.

You will need Javascript turned on to use this feature. If Javascript is turned off you will only be able to see the non-printer friendly version.

You'll also notice that on pages that have been made printer friendly, the left menu will no longer print at all! Don't be alarmed, this is by design.

Next update will feature changes that occur with Game Update 54.

SOE added a metric buttload of new achievements! For Dungeons we now have Sense of Urgency achievements, and for Raids we now have Sense of Urgency, Flawless Victory, and Shorthanded Victory. There are also new Triumphs to go with these new achievements.

Speaking of Triumphs, the Triumphs page got an organizational change. It's now broken down into several categories: Tradeskill, Quest and Exploration, Heroic, Raid, Flawless Victory, Sense of Urgency (Heroic and Raid), and Shorthanded Victory.

Game Update 53 is now live!

And to celebrate, I found another hidden achievement under the General category :D

PvP achievemnts will come as soon as I can clear up some character slots. Considering how many alts I have, that might take awhile.

September 22, 2009
Final update before Game Update 53 is Live. After Game Update 53 is live, this will be further updated with PvP achievements.

September 11, 2009
New update on Test which shifted around a lot of categories. As a result I practically had to rebuild the site from scratch!

Also because Test-Copy was changed back to a PvE server with this update, I'm unable to show the current PvP achievements. However the existing PvP Achievement Page still exists. I'll be updating it with full information once I'm able to (Most likely once GU53 hits and the achievements are available on PvP servers).

Site goes live! Please keep in mind that everything you see here is as it appears on the Test server, and subject to change before it goes Live. If you see any errors, or you have achievements to submit that aren't up on the Site, please email the screenshots to me!

Achievement FAQ

Q: What are Achievements?

If you ever played a game on an Xbox 360, Playstation 3, or any other game that has special accomplishments for completing goals, you know what an achievement is already. EQ2 achievements are virtually the same concept. If not, read on.

Achievements are basically a way of knowing what you have done in Norrath. It is a further way of tracking your charater's progression beyond simply just levels, AAs, and what loot you have. Each achievement is something that every player is able to complete with enough diligence and time. They are also a way of comparing what you have done to other players.

Q: How do I earn an Achievement?Read what the achievement entails, and complete it! For example the achievement 10th Season Adventurer simply requires you to reach Adventurer Level 10.

Q: What do these numbers mean?

It is a way of keeping score. The more achievements you complete, and the more difficult the achievements, the higher your score.

Q: What are Triumphs?

Triumphs are basically "Super" Achievements. Each Triumph requires completing multiple Achievements, or in some cases multiple Triumphs. These are the big daddy achievements and are worth the most points. Some Triumphs even have rewards attached to them.

Q: Speaking of Rewards, what is the point?

In most cases, Achievements are basically for fun. They really have no value in them other than the personal satisfaction of completing them.

However some Achievements do have tangible rewards. They fall into three categories:

Q: I logged in for the first time and I have several Achievements already completed. How?

The developers saw it fit to make some achievements retroactive. In most cases some achievements will be completed for older characters upon first log in. These include:

Q: OK, but some Achievements I did not get retroactive achievements for, even though I know I killed those mobs. Why?

For PoIs and Combat achievements, they are tied to your Alternate Advancement. In some cases, you won't be given retroactive Achievements. These reasons include:

Q: I completed an Achievement and it no longer shows in my Achievement window. Why?

More than likely you either checked the "Hide Completed Achievements" button, or it's a progressive Achievement. Several Achievements (such as the Slayer achievements) are part of a longer series of Achievements. Once you complete an achievement in a Progressive Achievement, it is replaced with the next one. Don't worry though, you still earned the old achievement and the points associated with it.

However the devs have provided us a way to see hidden Progressive Achievements. Type these commands in-game:

/medals_show_all 1
/refreshuidata

The game will momentarily freeze, and then start responding. It will then show all Progressive Achievements (including the many Slayer achievements!). This setting will not preserve once you log out of the game, so if you want to permanently see all progressive achievements, add "medals_show_all 1" to your eq2.ini file.

About Me

I'm just your average EQ2 Player. You can find me on my characters Sess (Conjuror), Cyanide (Berserker) or Xalmat (Necromancer) on the Permafrost server. I've been playing EQ2 since Friends and Family Beta in 2004.
